The Doccione waterfalls: a show accessible to all

Through the path that leads from Fellicarolo to Taburri you get to one of the wonderful natural spectacles that the Frignano park offers us.

Thanks to the new route taken from an old track it is possible to easily reach the Doccione Waterfalls; a real sensory journey for everyone.

As you walk along the path through the woods, in the distance you will begin to perceive the rustle of the water, continuing to walk you will feel the air cool off and the sound of water getting louder and louder until a fresh mist settles on your skin and you will find in front of the waterfalls.

During the summer the flow of water is lower, while in autumn and spring the waterfalls are full of water, even in periods of heavy rain the flow of water can become dangerous.

In winter, however, the waterfall freezes and creates spectacular games between the reflections of light and the forms it takes.

The path is about 400 meters long with paving, protective fence and equipment for the passage of wheelchairs. So anyone can enjoy nature without renouncing to approach.

Continuing along the dirt road, you will reach a picnic area with a refuge within 20 minutes on foot (or 5 minutes by car).
